Summary

Tuck Voice does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. Everything happens on your device.

What data does Tuck Voice use?

Tuck Voice creates and stores the following data on your device only:

• Voice recordings (audio files)
• Transcripts generated by on-device speech recognition
• Tags, folders, and bookmarks you create
• App preferences (settings choices)

Does Tuck Voice send data to servers?

No. Tuck Voice does not operate any servers. All recording and transcription happens on your device using WhisperKit, an on-device speech recognition engine.

The only network activity is:

1. Speech recognition model download — A one-time download of the transcription model (~140 MB) when you first use transcription. No user data is sent.
2. iCloud sync (optional) — If you enable iCloud sync, your recordings and transcripts are synced to your personal iCloud account using Apple's CloudKit. This data goes to your iCloud storage, not to us. We cannot access it.

Does Tuck Voice track me?

No. There are no analytics, no tracking SDKs, no advertising identifiers, and no cookies. We do not know how many times you open the app, what you record, or how you use it.

Does Tuck Voice share data with third parties?

No. No user data is shared with any third party. The sharing features in the app (Share Transcript, Share Audio, Copy) use Apple's standard Share Sheet — data only leaves your device when you explicitly choose to share it.

What about iCloud?

iCloud sync is off by default. When enabled, your data syncs to your personal iCloud account via Apple's private database. With Apple's Advanced Data Protection enabled, your data is end-to-end encrypted. Tuck Apps cannot access your iCloud data under any circumstances.

In-App Purchases

Tuck Voice offers a one-time Pro upgrade via Apple's App Store. Purchase transactions are handled entirely by Apple. We receive a receipt confirming the purchase but do not collect any payment information, name, or email address.

Children's privacy

Tuck Voice does not collect personal information from anyone, including children. No account creation is required.

Data retention & deletion

All data is stored locally on your device. You can delete any recording, transcript, tag, or folder at any time from within the app. When you uninstall the app, all local data is removed by iOS. iCloud data remains in your iCloud account until you delete it.
